We wanted a name that people could remember easily. We started switching the initials from our names, but it did not convince us. Then we tried with the initials of our lastnames and we also rejected the idea. After all we thought of thinking a word that could describe our restaurant and change it to other language. The word we chose was ¨NEW¨and we translate it to french (nouveaté) and swedish (nyhet). The names did not match with what we wanted to show and it would also be a difficulty for people to pronunce and remember, so we chose a name that we thought since the very beginning ¨Willy´s¨since it is one of our group member´s name and it also match with the look of the restaurant we want to open, an American restaurant based on the 70´s.
LOGOS
The next logo shows our first idea of the restaurant, it was supposed to be an Italian restaurant. It shows a cook which was supposed to be Willy (the main chef) holding a pizza, the special dish. We located the italian flag as the background since our food comes from Italy. The colors we chose were based on other logos that pretend to simulate an italian appearance.

Later, we thought if we really wanted to only cook italian food, we did not, so we started creating other logos. The first one shows a chef holding a spoon, it does not focus in any special type of food from any country. That´s why this logo was the most likely to be our final logo. But it´s not serious enough so we put it away and keep thinking.
The second one is more simple, it´s just the name with a little decoration and bright colours. We also reject it since it doesn´t show anything about our restaurant and people could get our bussiness wrong since it looks like an electricity company.

Our next logo is simple, it only shows the name of our restaurant inside a blue cyrcle. It came to our mind because it wasn´t complicated and it does not specified anything about our restaurant, moreover be didn´t pick it because we are looking for something else, something that talk about us and make us different and this logo is too comon.

The last one shows a picturewith our name ¨Willy´s¨in the midddle of a white cyrcle separated from the background which is decorated with knifes, spoons and forks insinuating that it is a restaurant. Since we could not decide between any color in special, we thought of mixing all the colors so it was more colorful and could bring our client´s attention. We reject this one because it was similar to other product´s logo totally diffrent from ours and we did not want people to mistake it.

Since we have change our idea of restaurant we have been working in other logos. The design we are looking for has to be simple, easy, and also show to the clients that it is a young american restaurant based on the 70´s. Mixing all those ideas, we thought of the next logo. It has bright colors like pink and yellow making the name of ¨Willy´s¨ putting the name in to top of the hippie´s symbol in blue and green. All inside a dark blue cyrcle. This logo was built from a special type of letters that were popular in the 70´s due to the psychedelic feeling. We thought it was a good idea because it shows the objectives we had on the logo´s idea, but it still doesn´t describe which bussiness we are making and it wasn´t serious enough either.
Because the last logo didn´t show anything about what kind of restaurant it is or about the type of food we have, we thought of adding some symbol that could make it easier to decribe us such a drink or dish. Due we have american food we could show the one that most easily brings our clients attention by its originallity. We thought of ice creams, cakes, burgers, hot dogs... We came up with a special milkshake that its not too popular in Spain but people definaltely likes it. We draw a strawberry milkshake with cream, a straw and a cherry on the tom. We put the name of our bussiness in the middle of the glass. We really like this logo, it won´t be the official logo, since we thought that people might think its an ice cream place or somthing. But we are going to use it for the menu and other occassions.

Finally, we have done this logo that has all the elements we were looking for. It is simple and cute. Because we liked the idea of the milkshake we thought of using it in our next logo so we add it to this one. For this logo we used the idea of ¨Tommy Mel´s¨ logo. A cyrcle with nice colors on it and the name inside. We chose this colors because we think it will bring people´s attention and it matches our looks. We like this logo because it shows exacly what we want to share. It is serious but not too much, since it is not a restaurant for just wealthy people. The ice cream shows that it is about an american restaurant and the ¨70´s¨shows up that is based on that time. For all these reasons this is going to be the logo that represent us.
